Probite discs and pads are Regulation 90 (ECE R90) approved and certified for road use in the EU.
We always recommend either slotted or grooved for optimum performance, but any machined finish will perform better over a plain face disc. It must be noted that the extra performance gained comes with increased pad wear and dust. All machined disc finishes help with initial bite (especially in wet conditions), help prevent gauling of pad compounds, help promote even pad wear and increase surface area to aid in cooling of the disc.

Probite Predator Brake Pads are made from a high temperature compound with serious fast road performance in mind. The compound is capable of handling up to 500°C with no fade whatsoever, plus offering excellent friction from cold. Probite Predator are made to complement the range of Probite brake discs to offer affordable and dependable stopping performance. With the various disc finishes to choose from, you can tailor your friction to your needs. We will ask what you are looking for when we contact you about your discs order.
For those that are looking for a compound that is aimed to handle at a bit higher temperature of 550°C for fast road driving, Probite offers the PRO-550 compound. It offers a slightly firmer pedal feel along with a bit longer pad life over the Predator compound.
For race capable semi-metalic pads – DIXCEL, EBC, PBS and for sintered pads – CL Brakes
