Probite discs and pads are Regulation 90 (ECE R90) approved and certified for road use in the EU.
Disc finishes do not alter the pricing.
Drilled discs will be the noisiest under hard braking.
We always recommend either slotted or grooved for optimum performance, but any finish will perform better over a plain disc. It must be noted that the extra performance gained comes with increased pad wear and dust. All machined disc finishes help with initial bite (especially in wet conditions), help prevent gauling of pad compounds, help promote even pad wear and increase surface area to aid in cooling of the disc.

These pads feature a heat transfer layer next to the backing plate to transfer heat away from the disc and pad, allowing them to handle up to 500’C with no fade whatsoever plus offering excellent friction from cold. For those that are looking for a compound that is aimed to work at higher temperatures (550’C) with the friction increasing with temperature, Probite offers the PRO-550 compound. It has a slightly firmer pedal feel, longer pad life and is better for light track use than the Predator compound.
